CSI Acquires Alltech Pro, LLC
CSI is a global leader in sourcing and distribution of highly engineered component parts and assemblies serving Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) in a variety of industries. Alltech, founded in 2011 and headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, is a global sourcing organization focused on steel castings for industrial and heavy equipment applications, including its own line of bucket teeth, shanks and other ground engaging tools.
The acquisition of Alltech will further enhance the growth of CSI by adding a well-established operation near Atlanta, where a large customer base already exists. Alltech will advance CSI’s strategic focus on growing its steel casting expertise, as well as having its own brand of ground engaging tools. Additionally, Alltech will attract new vendors and expand end market exposure for the CSI platform.
Integration is underway. The CSI and Alltech management teams, along with Argosy, are actively working on executing Argosy’s Value Acceleration Methodology (VAM™) acquisition toolkit to integrate the operations, realize synergies between the companies, and continue to grow the combined company.
“We are excited to partner with Alltech to expand our product offerings to include steel castings.” said John Hornberger, CSI’s President and CEO. “Alltech has an amazing reputation for being steel casting experts, including conversion of weldments and fabrications to castings. The benefits to our customer base for this type of additional service offering will be game changing, as we partner with them to drive cost downs through VAVE (Value Add Value Engineering). Alltech’s ground engaging tools product line will also be a focus for us as we move from regional to national distribution.”
“We are thrilled to be partnering with the Alltech team. The two companies share a commitment of servicing businesses at a high level through on time delivery of quality parts and excellent support. The combined strength of CSI and Alltech will provide customers access to a broader portfolio of sourcing solutions,” said John Broderick, Operating Partner of Argosy Private Equity.
