2026 Summer Analyst Program

Argosy Private Equity is seeking 2026 Summer Analysts to support the Investment Team. This role will involve supporting the Investment Team in conducting research and analysis to evaluate and underwrite investments in private companies. Analyses will include market research, financial modeling, deal structuring and valuation. The role will engage across all functions of the firm and will have exposure to the entire deal process which includes origination, due diligence, negotiation, financing, documentation, strategic planning, and portfolio management.
Responsibilities:
• Review confidential information memoranda (CIMs) and prepare deal summaries.
• Conduct market mapping and support thesis development for Argosy’s targeted sectors.
• Support due diligence processes across commercial, financial, and operational workstreams.
• Work with our Head of BD to identify companies in targeted industries.
• Assist in the preparation of materials to be used with fundraising activities.
• Collaborate with deal team and operating partners on ad-hoc strategic analyses.
• Prepare investment committee materials and internal memos.
• Attend various meetings when appropriate to gain exposure into the private equity process.
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
• Rising senior (Class of 2027) pursuing an undergraduate degree in Finance, Economics, or related fields and evidence of strong academic achievement.
• Highly analytical, with a bias toward supporting claims with data.
• Compelling interest in building a career in private equity or financial services, evidenced by related coursework, internships, or other transferable experience.
• Knowledge of business growth strategies and risk/return characteristics of private equity investment opportunities.
• Ability to review and interpret financial statements with a foundational understanding of accounting.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Developed problem solving skills and a solutions-focused approach to addressing challenges.
• Flexibility, adaptability, and desire to take on additional responsibilities.
