Please join us in welcoming Seth Wilson to the Argosy Private Equity (“Argosy”) Team!

Seth joins Argosy Private Equity as a Partner and brings over 25 years of middle market buyout experience to the firm. Seth has spent the majority of his career specifically focused on the Transportation & Logistics (“T&L”) industry and has served on the boards of 18 T&L companies. Transportation & Logistics is an industry in which Argosy has successfully invested in the past and we are excited that Seth will be helping us increase our expertise in this attractive niche.

In 2014, Seth co-founded Headhaul Capital Partners LLC, a private equity firm focused on acquiring and building T&L businesses. Argosy and Headhaul have partnered on three acquisitions since then.  Prior to Headhaul Capital, Seth was a Managing Director at private equity firm Jefferies Capital Partners LLC where he led the T&L investing practice and was a member of the Investment Committee. Seth started his career in the Investment Banking Division of Furman Selz LLC and was a member of the Transportation group.

Over his career, Seth has served on the boards of directors of a wide range of T&L companies including DSI Logistics; OL International; Great Western Trailer; ACS Logistics; Diverse Logistics; BWT Logistics; Vac2Go; Arnold Transportation; Aurora Parts and Accessories; Aurora Trailer; R&R Group; K-Sea Transportation; Epic Gas and IDB Carriers.

Seth received an A.B. from Harvard University and an M.B.A. from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business. He is a frustrated 76ers fan, a long-time comic book collector and enjoys spending time with his wife and two children.
